After jumping off my bus, I heard this astonishing voice near Civic Centre at Queen street. I was listening to her music, she noticed my camera and grabbed a calling card to give me. Sam asked me to send photos and after that short chat I took some snap shots. She's an artist who writes all her songs. I knew I found gold in her so I asked her for a street portrait. It went pretty well, I think I succeeded in making her feel relaxed and comfortable during our 2 minute photo shoot. I'm happy to have met Sam and for the opportunity to add her to my "Faces of Street of Auckland" Album.
